Attic Insulation

Picture
Attic insulation is the smartest investment you can make. For one, it can make your HVAC system run more efficiently. Plus, it can also prevent any expensive future repairs caused by water damage and mold.
For the greatest savings, we recommend familiarizing yourself with common insulation materials such as spray foam, fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, and cotton. Once you are ready, it is time for you to plan and decide if you will do it yourself or hire us.
We strongly recommend that you let us insulate your attic to prevent wasting any unused materials since most people overestimate the amount of insulation material they need for their attic.
If you want to help ensure that the insulation project will be done right and be as effective as you expect, we suggest that you do the following:
● Find and fix any leaks. Look for any damp spots on your joists and roof sheathing to find the leaks.
● Cover or relocate light fixtures and other objects in your attic. Some insulation materials like mineral wool and fiberglass shed particles that can be harmful to your health. You would not want those to stick with your fixtures and pieces of furniture.
● Make sure that the air from your vents and exhaust fans goes outside and not in your attic. Some contractors tend to just leave the vent to exhaust air in attics.
Insulating your attic will allow you to easily control the temperature in your house without pushing your HVAC system and utility bills to the limit. And to make sure that you can gain a lot of savings thanks to reduced utility bills, reach out to us and let us do what we do best.
